This book is very helpful for moms like me.I love reading this book it feels like I'm a fashion designer and I've wanted to upcycle my old clothes.I was hooked up on the process on how to upcycle the pants.One of my favorite is the cat printed jeans It was hard finding one in the clothing shop but I'm very happy that I can do one,I will just follow few of the steps in this book so I can perfectly have a Cat Printed Jeans and this book arrived to me in a perfect timing because I'am thinking what to wear this coming Halloween party and finally I would love to wear the Cat Printed Jeans.I love to try more of the Upcycling crafts in this book so I can recycle all our old clothes.Thanks to Kitty Moore,this book is really helpful to me.I would love to highly recommend this book to all my friends.
Although the first book suggested a wooden frame of a chair for this project, I tried using a steel one. I gathered my old ties and started this project. With the simple instructions from this book, I am sure that I can turn these salvaged materials into an exquisite piece of furniture. What a wonderful and creative idea! I have my mind fixed on other upcycling crafts found in this book like the handle holder, bed for your doggy and wall decor with old scarf. These simple crafts have challenged my creativity and they meet my household needs. The other books in this set also contain a lot of upcycling crafts idea and I am very positive that one can choose a project that would suit his needs. This is a great compilation of upcycling crafts books.
I love this book. I use it to create awesome DIY projects while not having to trow away a lot of stuff that I otherwise would have thrown out. The projects are very easily created and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
I really liked the whole idea of recycling. We waste so much in this country. One area that is overly abused is in our apparels and foot ware. How much money can we save if we learn to wear our clothes more than a day, a week or a month? For many of us this certainly is a case. The world has only limited resources. Once it’s used up, we may have nowhere to go but recycle our old clothes. How about starting now?Kitty Moore shows you how you can make so many wonderful apparels from so many old clothes. To give you an example, you can learns how to make lace scarf from men’s shirt and old table cloth, T-shirt warp skirt from two large T-shirts, children’s hat from old sweater, soda bottle hanging lamp from 3-plastic green bottles, and many, many other things, in all she covers in 4 sizable books. Be creative. Purchase these books and start making your own novel clothes. You can save money and you will have fun.
There's so many DIY ideas to choose from, great ideas to recycle things you don't need anymore. Each instructions are no brainier, very easy to follow and was well written but you need a good imagination to visualize each item. There's no image of each project in here, and if you want to see the available image, you'll have to go to this website and giveaway your email address, which in my case is the only turn off with this book.If the author of this book had been generous enough for us to view some lovely images, instead of links to her site. I'll give this one 5 stars.REVIEW REVISION [From 3 - 5 stars]: I did gave the email subscription a try and the site isn't so bad. Load of pretty stuff and "images" there.
