With the chemistry both Bailey and Oliver share can 1 night be enough for them? This book keeps you on your toes as you aren’t really sure which way it’s going to go. I highly recommend it!
First let me say, that I want an Oliver Connelly of my very own. He is the most considerate, thoughtful, generous, loving man Ever!!!! In this Misadventures book we are treated to Oliver Connelly, Bailey Hardin, and Skye Jordan, plus Janine who helps immensely with Oliver's business, Book Boyfriend, Inc. He starts the business as he needs money because he no longer can secure any modeling contracts. He meets Bailey on a book boyfriend date and he falls for her. There is intrigue involving Bailey and Skye, who is Oliver's best friend and room mate. I love Victoria's very descriptive writing. The absolute caring and love that Oliver shows really gave me so many fabulous feels. I cannot wait for Victoria's next Misadventures involving Skye. I am so very happy that Victoria Blue entered the Misadventures books series. This is a fast paced, fun, loving, thoughtful, sexy!, delightful read. Do not miss this Misadventure!
Misadventures with a book boyfriend is an amazing read. Oliver is a washed up model looking for a way to make ends meat, When he comes up with the Idea of Book Boyfriend Inc. It's a fun idea and takes off!! Oliver ends up falling for one of his Ladies. This is an excellent addition to the Misadventures Series !
Misadventures with a Book Boyfriend ended up being so much more than I originally thought. It is a fun, sexy story with a twist!Oliver’s new business venture takes him into uncharted territories but what he finds is a true life fairytale ending.He meets Bailey and their relationship is complicated especially when it interferes with the relationship he has with his best friend. This story kept me on my toes. I kept wondering throughout most of the story if Bailey was worthy of Oliver’s affection and if they would actually end up together and I hated that it might cost him a long time friendship.This book is a great addition to the Misadventures series!
I have mixed feelings about this particular misadventure. This was my first book by Victoria Blue and I liked it enough to want to read another Misadventure from her should that come about. This is the first Misadventures book that I've read (thus far) that was told solely from the male character's first person POV. I have to admit that I did quite enjoy that (especially as I half read, half listened to the book). I will issue a slight trigger warning for those that are sensitive to cheating as that is sort of a major plot point. I'll admit that I went into the book blind and the plot didn't play out at all as I expected; I thought that perhaps a famous book cover model was embarking on a relationship with a woman that was a superfan of one of the books that he was on. Instead, we have Oliver, a male supermodel that decides to create a "Book Boyfriend" themed escort service in the face of his declining career and dwindling bank account. Of course he finds more than he bargained for with one of his clients, but that's where the story veered into very unique territory. I won't reveal any other plot points (#nospoilers), just know that the book was more than meets the eye. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.
This one has my mind going in so many directions and pleasantly, most were wrong turns. Oliver has to face reality when his status as the most sought after male model falls down the rabbit hole. But, his best friend/roommate Skye depends on him to pull his share of the load.He gets an idea from the Romance novel loving neighbors and begins Book Boyfriend Inc. Who would not want a date with their favorite Book Boyfriend?He meets a woman, 'Melanie' (Bailey) on one such date that he can't get her out of his head. Until he sees her again and again.The business takes off, thanks to his insightful neighbor. And he must expand. With this, he decides to let others take the dates while he concentrates on the business and Bailey.As things pick up with his business and his love life, they deteriorate in his friendship with Skye.I have to admit I was not fond of either of Oliver's women for the longest time. But in Victoria's most wonderful way she saved them for me. 😊 The story is fun, tragic a bit and oh so hot! I love Oliver and all of his ladies.6 likes
