Brain Games are my mother's favorite, and this one was particularly challenging since one needed to have some knowledge of history in order to find the errors. For example, if one didn't know who won the Presidential election in 1948 or hadn't seen that famous photo, it would be impossible.

I brought a few of these picture puzzle books and this one was really neat. Really a nice book and love the pictures from way back. Glad I got it and will be getting more.

I bought this for a patient where i work, who always loves to do the peoples version every week. So I looked this up and purchased it. He thanks me every-time he comes in (sweet man) because he says he loves it.He states that each page is clear and big enough to see. (he's elderly). Its in a spiral binding which he adds is great because the pages don't get bent or ragged. He loves the old pictures in it because it reminds him of his youth. :)Thank you for helping me to make someone's day, in a small way. :)

My mother is in a nursing home and these picture puzzle books really keep her mind sharp.

pictures are too small and the items too well hidden for the seniors I work with to find.

This work, a careful update of Matt's earlier edition of Zohar excerpts, provides an accurate and thoughtful translation of many of the most important sections of the Zohar, a primary text in the mystical tradition of the kabbalah. The Zohar itself is voluminous, and it has never been fully translated into English. This book, though, is short and just covers a few essential areas of the Zohar. While basic, it is not watered-down. It's a great place to start if you've recently heard about the Zohar and are wondering about it. There are a lot of unreliable and "fluffy" treatments filling the shelves these days -- this is the authentic article, prepared by one of the most highly regarded scholars in the field.If you like this book, you might also be interested in the same translator's new, complete translation of the entire Zohar. It's being published volume-by-volume by Stanford University Press. But if you just want the highlights, if you just want to see what this text is about, then this Skylight edition is the way to go.

This a very easy to read translation with plenty of clear useful commentary. I actually enjoyed reading it as no other I have seen.I have the Kindle edition which was initially difficult to read as it does not distinguish the text from the commentary when one flows into the other. It would be better if one of them were shaded.

Love love love this book! It is striaight to the point with all the pertinent information, which is much needed as a student when you are absorbing a ton of info! He older version of this book was required for my class but I opted for the this version because it has the lastest greatest recommendations for hypertension as well as the new diabetes medications. A must have for any practitioners resource library!

Guidelines only and only for a select number of conditions, not as many as I would have thought. Not sure it's really all that useful, can look all this stuff up online easily and for free. Patient education materials are nice but unsure if I would use them in practice or not. Okay for school case studies. No photos in this text at all.

I purchased the paperback book that came with the electronic version through an app called NOVA. I had to repurchase the electronic version through amazon to use with the kindle app. The paper copy fell apart after a few uses and the NOvA app. Isn’t well developed yet. If you like electronic versions your better off purchasing the know kindle version through amazon. The information in the book is straight to the point and easy to read.

Great book. I wish it had more drug dosages. The best book is the 5 minutes consult.

I recommend to all mid level providers. Have not quite mastered the e-book.

Like Oliver above, barely scratched and the NOVA app for book download did not validate. Gently scratched with a coin and the code came off! Not legible at all, highly defective code scratch off process.

The book is very easy to read, however, other I prefer other texts. In the back of the book there are patient teaching handouts that can be useful as a practitioner.

The book begins with a prologue about a city that could be anywhere in America that goes through the changes that American cities saw (immigration, segregation, brown v board of education, depression, recession, etc.) While that is a good way of explaining the development of American cities in just a few short pages, The characters of the prologue followed the rest of the way through, and it was much more distracting than it was helpful. Everything was a long narrative with these characters that you needed to remember who they were. It would have been much more time efficient to just cut to the chase and say some activists do X. Some laws say X while others say Y.Message to the Author: Save your nostalgic stories for fiction. It decreased my comprehension and consumed far more time than it needed to talking about "Milkweed Park" and "Ourfuture City."
